Which is better for sound quality, optical or coaxial?
I am looking into getting a home theatre system for my home entertainment setup. I have a Plasma TV and a Playstation 3 that I want to use with the home theatre system. Is it better to have more optical or coaxial inputs? Which is better for sound quality?
Sound quality is exactly the same for both optical and coaxial. However, I think its best to have more optical inputs, the only reason being that optical outputs are far more common on DVD players, TVs etc.
